Tools I used and articles on game programming
- Eclipse-
an
open-source programming environment for the Java programs. I like it
for the inbuilt compiler that shows you errors as you type code
- Gimp
- a photoshop-like open-source image editor.
- Windows Paint - for simpler images. Can not make
sprites (images with transparent background)
- The Java API
- A list of available classes with their fields and methods. Very
useful. (Please! If you know of a similar documentation for C#, please
send it to me. You will get a honorable mention on this page. The MSDN
library does not count).
