Polaris: Defense of Olathoe BETA I am writing a game called Polaris: Defence of Olathoe, based on Lovecraft's story, Polaris. Currently I uploaded a beta version: it still has no sound, balance and of course the Pole Star itself. Speaking of sound, I need a recording of what the Pole Star's poem would have sounded like: Slumber, watcher, till the spheres, Six and twenty thousand years Have revolv’d, and I return To the spot where now I burn. Other stars anon shall rise To the axis of the skies; Stars that soothe and stars that bless With a sweet forgetfulness: Only when my round is o’er Shall the past disturb thy door. My own Israeli - Russian accent is unsuitable for the task at hand, so if you have a suitable, melodic voice and some spare time, please consider recording this poem and sending me a .wav file (admin@mysuperiorgames.com). If I find the recording good enough, it will be used in the game as the voice of the Pole Star, and in exchange you will get a honorable mention in the game credits, and if you want, a link from here to your webpage. Should the game earn for me a huge ammount of money (unlikely), I will send you via PayPal 5% of the revenue. Currently there are no in-game instructions. Simply click on any of the 6 banners to send soldiers to defend the nearby path. Prevent the Inuts from entering the city. In this beta version the game will probably never stop, until you close it.
